Focus Services
Review #1 Focus Services – Austin Bawden National Director
By: Jennifer M.
I have sent a couple of emails to the person I initially spoke with from this company. It’s funny that he was quick to respond to emails before he had my money but now no response at all. I signed up for a 6 month business training, but was not fully informed of what was involved in making this training work. It seems that the initial investment is only the tip of the iceberg and in order to really get a return on the investment you have to put a lot more in than just the initial money, time and hard work…lots more money too its seems is required or at least pressure asked of you. Money that I told Austin Bawden (the man I initially spoke to) that I did not have.
The was the reason I was doing this was a true investment in my future or so I thought. It seems that all it is a black hole that just wants more money to fill it. I believe it may be legitimate company to a certain degree, but they were not fully truthful with me up front or I would never have signed up. I had 3 days to cancel after which they said no refund. I did not speak to another person after Austin until after that three days…
how is a consumer supposed to make an informed decision if you don’t even know what is truly involved. It seems every time I speak to someone besides my weekly “coaching” session it is about “investing” yet more money in this and it’s always high pressure as in we need to do this now to get the ball rolling and get you making money. I don’t think me making money is really their intention at all at this point. The last person I spoke with was about a website and it was truly high pressure and then after I hung up and got the confirmation email it was then that I learned that what I just spent was non-refundable immediately. Can you really do that? Just checking because that just doesn’t seem right to me.
This whole thing just is beginning to seem not right. I know I was naive and stupid to fall for this, but I just want to put it out there so at least maybe I could save another person for falling for this. I know that if Austin had told me from the beginning I was looking at potentially a $15,000 to $20,000 investment in order to really “make it work” I would never have done this!!! If you have it to invest it might be one thing, but I told him up front I did not and he should have had the respect if this is a legitimate company to tell me all that was involved in order to get a return on the investment.
Thank you for your time, Jennifer M.
