Back in November I ordered two hard drives at a good price. After about a month I contacted them and asked where my HD’s were. They stated they were on back order due to floods in Thailand, but assured me I would get them soon.
I waited another month and asked them where my order was and to refund me my money.
They replied, “This part# is back ordered but we can replace it with any 500GB 2.5 laptop HDD model for the same price. Please advise.”
I then looked on their site and there was no HD”s at all. So I emailed them again stating that there’s nothing there and I want my money back.
They replied, “Did you receive our prior email? THe LCD is readily available, (Moneybookers has been holding payments since December 1st due to late shipments for some orders and we have been shipping out of pocket for now 2 months). We can fulfill your order without issue, – you can cancel the initial transaction through your bank, and re-order it through alternative payment method like paypall and we will be MORE THAN HAPPY TO SHIP IT WITHOUT ISSUE. PLEASE CONFIRM RECEIPT OF EMAIL.” Ok, I didn’t order an LCD! I ordered a Hard Drive! WTF? Right?!?? And they want me to purchase the items again? Items that don’t even exist on their website? Do they think I’m an idiot? GEEZ! I again emailed them saying I want my money back. I also emailed moneybrokers who had taken my money via amazingcellular’s website and asked for a refund.
I got an email back from moneybrokers saying, “Thank you for contacting Skrill (Moneybookers) Customer Service. This email is a follow up on your complaint against [ Le Groupe 5B International Inc]. Firstly, we would like to apologize for the inconvenience you experienced, caused by the merchant’s failure to deliver the goods you have paid for via Moneybookers. After careful consideration of your non delivery complaint, we would like to inform you that unfortunately we cannot refund the transaction in question due to the fact that the funds have already left our system. Please be kindly reminded that Moneybookers is an online payment provider and our responsibilities are limited to processing online payments according to the instructions you provide us with. Thus we cannot be held liable for the delivery of the service/goods you have purchased through our system. Our Terms and Conditions, which you have accepted when making the payment with Moneybookers, clearly state the following: 9.4. “Once funds are credited to the recipient’s Account, the transaction becomes irreversible.” 16.8. “Moneybookers’ obligation under these Terms of Use is limited to providing you with an electronic money account and related payment services and does not make any statement in relation to or endorsement of the quality, safety or legality of any goods or services provided by a Moneybookers customer.” We would like to assure you that we have taken the appropriate actions against the merchant in question and in case you decide to undertake an official legal proceeding against the respective company, Moneybookers will be able to provide all relative details to the respective authorities so that we can support their investigation. In case you wish to object the payment further, we advise you to get in touch with your bank. If you have any questions, do not hesitate to get in touch with us at any time or in any way convenient for you.

**I also got a reply from amazingcellulars.com saying, “ATTN: Did you Not receive our Prior Email – Moneybookers payment Provider has been withholding Payments for now more than 3 months –Did you not receive our prior email reply? We have been having problems with our payment gateway ‘moneybookers’ which has been withholding funds since December 1st despite payment going through, they are being held within moneybooker’s account and still are to this day. We advise you to file a dispute through your bank, under ‘non receipt’ for merchandise not received, under Chargeback, and the funds will be forcefully taken out of moneybookers and returned back to your Credit Card on file and we have been advising this to multiple people, regarding this situation with the payment provider moneybookers. Please call your bank and file a chargeback under ‘non receipt’ as moneybookers is under FSA (Financial Services Authority Regulators in the UNITED KINGDOM) after we filed a formal complaint against them around 1.5 months ago, regarding them withholding funds without merit and causing severe disruption to our shipments and our customers. So please call your bank first thing and file a dispute / chargeback under ‘non receipt’ against moneybookers payment provider, and the funds will be returned back to your account by your own bank. We can fulfill your order, after you issue the dispute through your bank as above, You can Order the Part# through PayPal or other north America reliable service providers, and we will gladly fulfill your order. Please reply asap.”
So in the end, my bank, Chase stated that I can’t get any of my money back b/c it’s been over 4 months. So, I’m out $145. Sucks! The story changed so many times and it was filled w/lies all along the way. Neither company would refund me stating the other had my money. Booo! Shame on them both!

Strangely AmazingCellulars.com directed me to this site to offer positive feedback – claiming they are being defamed by previous customers.
So I can’t really give positive feedback but I will try to be fair. In early November I was looking for a 2TB hard drive. The price was reasonable and AmazingCellulars claimed that the item was in stock. Made the purchase and funds were taken from my debit card immediately. I waited for nearly two weeks and finally inquired about my purchase when nothing showed up. No reply from AmazingCellulars. After another nine days I finally asked for my money back. No reply. Two days later I received a notice that the order had shipped. When I demanded my money back and threatened to contact Visa, I was told that I would be ‘reported to the collection agencies for fraudulent filing illicit chargeback’.
In their defense (and it’s not much of a defense) they did insist that they were going to be shipping my hard drive and they did offer a full refund, but after nearly a month of waiting that wasn’t much consolation. Also, I am aware that the floods in SE Asia did put a crimp into the supply of harddrives. Also, where lots of harddrive prices nearly doubled after the flooding, the harddrive I received cost me exactly what it was listed at.
Unfortunately the harddrive showed up in a box with only a couple pieces of foam around it – no manufacturer’s packaging – and the ESD bag was ripped.
So all in all, an unsatisfactory experience. Really poor communication for nearly a month. Confrontational when they did finally communicate. And a product that I am not completely sure is legitimate. If I have the need for another drive (and I will) I will likely not deal with Amazing Cellulars.
Something strange about a company that is so questionable, turning around an claiming they are being ‘defamed’.

Very simple. I ordered five (5) ST3500413AS hard drives on Nov 24, 2011. Their confirmation said “You will receive an additional email once your order is shipped”. Okay… no email received because the order hasn’t apparently shipped. However, checking the same item on their site today shows: “In Stock – Ships Within 4-6 Business Days”, but the price now is $89.95 vs the $42.74 shown on my confirming order.
We’re all aware of the flooding in Thailand and the subsequent worldwide run on hard drives. Late shipment is understandable. However you ought to indicate as much in your current shipping schedule and any reputable dealer will keep in touch with their customers. Without contact, you should not be surprised when customers start claiming “fraud”, “bait-and-switch”, etc.
To Rick (presumably of Amazing Cellulars) I have called numerous times. I’ve sent emails to both Amazing Cellulars and their cc processing service, Skrill (Moneybookers) and have received no replies from either. 514-400-8327 politely takes messages and 1-818-814-8424 rings, but never gets answered. Yes Rick… this is a valid order with 100% valid complaints. I still need the drives if you can get them. Copied next is your confirming order if you doubt any of the above.

Amazing Cellulars will lie and tell you your item is shipping that you will get notification today then you won’t.
I have been waiting a month for my items that have been ordered they have my money and my product they say the item is on back order. I checked the items status on the webpage it says in stock for a higher price.
I was told I could cancel the order and reorder it. I sense a game of once I reorder I bet it will become available at the higher price.
AmazingCellulars.com is all over the web for scamming many I researched after the fact of buying from them.

What a joke, I ordered some hard drives from tehse guys months ago and havent seen anything. HUGE SCAM!
This company is a huge rip off. I was taken for over $100 from them back in the summer. Bought some items and they never showed and ignored all emails to them.
These guys are the absolute worst. I can attest to Amazing Cellulars.com as being a big time scam and ripping me off of money without delivering a product. Do not buy from these scam artists.
I too have been taken for a ride by this outfit. I ordered four Western Digital 2 TB drives and were shipped properly labled drives that were counterfeit with invalid serial numbers and do not work.
Well at least you received something, lol. A bunch of expensive paperweights… Nice!
I ordered 3 hard drives that never were shipped. I requested a refund but have yet to hear back. Will be contacting my CC company to try and get my money back that way.
Same story here with an order of hard drives. I too will attempt to get my money back by contacting my credit card company (Mastercard). Wish me luck.

We used to take paypal but no longer take it. We take Direct CC payments on either Moneybookers , AlertPay and will have our bank gateway setup again to process payment. When Interac for Canadian buyers is installed, you will be able to order but that’s within 1-2 weeks, the interact option.

Now I am sure 100% that this is a scam site.
They can send some articles, probably stolen, but they will keep much of the money you sent them and they will make you believe anything and never repay you.
You have already seen on television movies, TV series, etc., with scammers.
Except that it is not a fiction but it’s real.
And do not count on politicians to make laws against these criminals because the politicians themselves are scammers. Between scammers we “support”!
And believe that we are not alone in looking for sites like criminals “AmazingCellulars.com” on the Internet. The criminals also monitor to see what was said.
And when it gets too hot for them, they close their site to open others.
Is it surprising that there so much scammers on the Internet or elsewhere when we know that politicians are among the most dishonest people on the planet?
It’s not for nothing that Politician uses the “tools”: debt, deficits, crisis, etc. (words that mean nothing) for all cuts vigilante they do and all the millions of billions hidden in tax havens.

So I was robbed by AmazingCellulars of $ 150.38.
If you multiply that by at least 10,000 customers, was the sum of $ 1, 503.800 (over a million).
We understand why there are so many scammers, criminals on the Internet and elsewhere. In addition they are certain never to be captured by justice because justice does not exist.

I placed an order with amazingcellulars.com for a $400 piece of hardware on December 27, 2011. The item was listed as in stock and I paid for 3 day shipping. I received an order confirmation email after placing my order, followed by an email from Moneybooker.com. (Skrill / Moneybookers.com was used by the merchant to process the credit card transaction.)
My order was never delivered, nor was I give any update after it should have already been delivered. I emailed the merchant on January 4, 2012 to request an order status update. There was no reply. I called the merchant, but both phone numbers went to voice mail. I left a message but did not receive any call back.
I emailed again on January 6, 2012, to request an order status update, to which I received the following form reply:

The email came from orders@amazingcellulars.com but provided no name or contact information. It made no mention of my specific order.
I immediately contacted Skrill / Monebookers.com and was informed that the payment was not being held and that it had gone through on the same day that the order was initiated.
I repeatedly tried to contact Amazing Cellulars to request a refund by email and telephone but the merchant was unresponsive. Eventually the merchant repeated the claim that the money had not gone through despite my credit card having already been charged and despite eventually over four weeks passing since the original order. The merchant also changed the story and told me that I had to request the refund from Monebookers.com. Skrill / Monebookers.com again stated that the money had been transferred on the same day I placed the order and that I therefore could not receive a refund from them.
The merchant never provided the item I ordered and paid for, nor was a refund provided by the merchant. The merchant and Moneybookers refused to either refund my money or to provide the item I ordered and had paid for a month before.
I was eventually able to remove the charge from my credit card by disputing it with my bank before the limited time to do so had expired.
I very strongly advise against doing business with either Amazing Cellulars or Skrill / Moneybookers.
In the course of my efforts to resolve the situation, I contacted the merchant’s local police department. Though they proved unresponsive, additional complaints to them may alert them to the presence within their jurisdiction of a suspect that is taking money without delivering the items people have paid for. Update: After a month, I inquired about the order status again and was told that “the part# was slightly back ordered”. I then went onto their website and searched for the part where it still shows up as in stock.
I contacted the police as well but did not get very far. I live in Ontario Canada, about a 5 hour drive from Quebec. If I have some free time next week I might take a drive over there and visit in person. That might actually get us somewhere.
I was only out about $150 bucks to these guys, but I hate to see companies do this to innocent people and want to take every measure possible to shut them down and bring them to justice.

Made an order on 12/18/2011 for 2 LCD Screen replacement, after one week, I have called AmazingCellularrs numerous time on 12/26, 12/27 and 12/28, sent e-mail about my order, with NO ANSWER AT ALL. Finally call their ccProcessing gateway today; Money Bookers, to report and ask for a TOTAL REFUND.
Funny thing is the girl at Money Bookers told me they are legitimate… I wondering now if Money Bookers is not a part of that SCAM.

Unfortunately I do not have good news to report. I did receive a partial refund for one item that was out of stock. However the other items have not been delivered and I have been unable to get any response to several emails and phone calls. I have now opened a dispute with my credit card company to recover the money. I would not suggest that anyone else deals with this company.

Rip Off Artists! Placed an order on Dec 1st… Contacted them many times via e-mail as the two telephone numbers listed are never answered. Was finally given some generic excuse emails about flooding & hard drives. SO WHAT I ordered an LCD SCREEN!
Contacted Money Bookers about non deliver as well as my bank. Money Bookers finally responded and AMAZINGLY I was flooded with emails from AmazingCellulars… yesterday Dec 20th I received a tracking number that proved to be false. Today I received yet another tracking number.
I am suspicious that when I do receive my screen it will be the proper screen, or it will be used/damaged.

Order date was 11/25/11 and they sent me several emails stating they will give me refund but they never do. I was stupid for ordering from them.
Amazing Cellulars are total scammers. Before I order from anyone else who I haven’t heard of before I am for sure going to check this site. Lesson learned.
In the interest of fairness, I did manage to speak to Amazing Cellulars this morning and they said that two of the three items on my order were available whilst the third was on back order. They offered to send the items they had and credit me for the missing item. I am fine with that so am hoping the delivery will now arrive in reasonable time.
At this point, the only criticisms I would have of them from my own experience are the following:
1. It would seem their online stock status is not particularly reliable because an item I ordered as in stock is in fact on back order.
2. Their availability by phone/email is not perfect. I was unable to reach them through any channel yesterday and received no response to messages. However I did get through today.
3. They are showing all prices on the site in USD which is confusing for a Canadian company. This is because apparently the majority of customers are US based. However it would be nice to see the currency stated to avoid confusion.
4. Money is taken before goods are dispatched. However this policy is clearly stated on their site so whether I like it or not is somewhat irrelevant.
If my modified order is now fulfilled in good time, then I personally would rate them no worse than many small online retailers. Lots of the complaints are recent and involve hard disks. It could be that Amazing Cellulars got badly caught out by the situation in Thailand and have responded poorly, but that does not necessarily constitute deliberate fraud or scams in my book.
I will return with an update one way or another.
Rick – You do have a quality problem with prices on your site. Right now your top seller appears to be a laptop for $8.40, there is no way that price is correct. I suspect you will be getting many orders from people trying to cash in on such a pricing error and then you will no doubt receive a lot more negative comments for not shipping out such a bargain.

I am also starting to get concerned. I didn’t order any drives, but did place an order in excess of $400 a week ago. Payment was taken immediately and the items all appeared to be in stock. I have heard nothing since and today sent two emails and left two messages on their phone lines without response.
I also find it strange that I am based in Canada, dealing with a Canadian company and paying with a Canadian credit card, yet my credit card statement shows that the amount was actually charged in US$. I didn’t see anywhere on the site that it states the prices are in either USD or CAD, but had assumed it was CAD because the company is Canadian.
We contacted the FBI in denver colorado where GETPAYBACK Inc. is located. As they are profiting off defamation of character and blackmailing us to pay them, service fee to remove resolve disputes. This entire company ‘GetPayback Inc’ is hiding behind the CDA Communication Digital Decency Act, While Promoting Slander, Libal Profiting Off Defamation and Blackmailing merchants which is illegal, and we are seeking full punishment under the law against getpayback inc, and other blackmailing enterprises of this nature.
I ordered 2 WD20EARS drives from amazingcellular.com on Nov 1st for a MUCH lower price than I could find anywhere else.
I took delivery approx 30 days later. During this time, I sent a few e-mails inquiring about the status of my order. They responded fairly quickly assuring me that my order was fine.
In the end, I got the drives that I ordered, somewhat later than what I expected. But they arrived, and in good condition.
I think that those here complaining about slow HDD delivery should recognize the fact that they probably already know. The floods in Thailand have severely disrupted HDD production/delivery/supply.
The delivery from Amazing Cellulars was slow, but I did eventually get my drives for a much lower price than I could have elsewhere.

Offcourse both were offered refund, they both refused the refund, they want the item at below cost knowing full well the market place has tripled in prices since the crisis in thailand for internal hard drives. They would rather see a merchant lose money, and them profit off reselling them, as Cody had ordered an abnormal 6 QTY hard drives, with most likely intent on reselling. While our priory has been to ship to QTY 1 Buyers and honoring their prices to the fullest.
So Cody – Do tell the Truth instead of acting like the victim – you want to resell and make a profit and let the seller incur the loss.

I was offered a refund, and I did refuse the refund. The hard drives are worth more than what I paid for them three weeks ago, so I will not accept a refund for the cost three weeks ago. I will only accept a refund for the current price of the hard drives from a *reputable* distributor.
I realize you are all talking about hard drives, but I ordered a replacement laptop screen from amazingcellulars.com for about $200 after having a similar order canceled by laptopsolutions through dhgate.com, presumably because they figured out they could easily charge more. While Amazingcellulars total delivery time was 40 days, (order confirmation 10/18/2011 – actual delivery 11/28/2011) they responded to all my emails within 24 hours and, more importantly, respected the agreed upon selling price even though the market price obviously went up and they quite probably lost money on my purchase. For that I respect them and will probably purchase from them in the future, as long as delivery time is not as critical as cost.
One more for the books, I ordered 3 1TB drives on 11/22/11
credit card was charged right away. on 11/28/11 I emailed about the status of my order and got a response stating that, it takes 4-6 buisness days to ship and 3 days to deliver and it would ship out with in the ETA schedule. On 12/02/11 I emailed again- no response, on 11/06/11 called and emailed again no response. Status of order still shows new.

This buyer orderes late november – Nov 29, and 2 days later threatens after reading a comment onnline – This buyer was already cancelled and refunded, due to his defamatory comments and knowing full well he was offered a FULL REFUND upon request – He had ordered in less than 2 days , and already was complaining knowing the Shipping time frame.

Okay… I called my banker as promised. Turns out the billing agent, Skrill (Moneybookers)isn’t reliable either. Their confirmation for the subject billing shows $254.74 which matches Amazing Cellulars’ invoice. In reality, they debited my account for $256.78 ($2.04 extra) raising my cost to $51.36 delivered. Birds of a feather fly together??
Ordered in mid-November and have still not received shipment. Rep returned call and said he would check on the order and call us back within 15 minutes. It has been 3 days. I may have to take legal action which I’d rather NOT do but having forced my hand…..
My situation is similar to the others. I ordered five (5) Seagate ST3500413AS hard drives on November 24, 2011 on order # AB-4775. My confirmation shows $42.74 each plus an outrageous postage charge of $41.04 for a net delivered cost of $50.95 each. They apparently have not shipped as I’ve not received the now infamous “additional email”. Their phone numbers are useless as one takes a message and the other rings forever. Multiple emails to them as well as their billing agent Skrill (Moneybookers) have yet to be answered.
As of a few minutes ago, they are still showing the ST3500413AS drives “…In Stock – Ships Within 4-6 Business Days” although the price has been increased to $89.95 presumably as a result of the flooding in Thailand. The direct link is:

I totally understand the price increase as there has absolutely been a world wide run on drives. My complaint is their total lack of customer service and that they’re still showing them in stock. It give the illusion of a typical “bait-and-switch” scam whether factual or not.
As Cody noted yesterday, I don’t want a refund… I want my drives! However, I do intend on speaking with my banker today to give her a heads-up on the transaction.

Ordered a hard drive 12 days ago, still haven’t received shipping conformation. I emailed them and got no response.
I did order four of their 2TB Caviar Green drives for $85.05 each on November 14. The website said they were in stock and they ship within 4-6 days. On November 26, they told me I would receive a shipping notification by that day or Monday, November 28. I still have not received a shipping notification. I sent two emails on December 1 and December 4 asking about my order status, and I have not received a reply. Their customer service number just rings for minutes. I will not accept a refund for the original price because it will cost me far more to buy the same drives today.
If many people are affected, I’ll file a class action. For every person who has posted, ten more have not. Email me at amazingcellularscase@gmail.com if you have been affected. If your order was not shipped within 4-6 days, you have a right to compensation.
I have already received several emails from people in the same situation. At this rate, we should have more than enough victims to justify a class. I ordered 2 hard disks online. I quickly got a ‘confirmation’ by email of the order and the credit card was charged. Nothing heard since. Their phone numbers are a recorded message that tells to leave a voice mail, and then says that the mailbox does not accept any more messages (I guess your voice mailbox is exhausted Rick!), the other phone number simply rings forever. None of the emails get answered, I instructed my bank to dispute and cancel the payment.

After six days my items have not yet sent and continued to be in status “processing”. Despite trying to contact you by email and phone you give no answer. Your website continues to sell the item as in stock and your office is located next to Canada Post … no justification is possible, it’s a scam. A complaint was filed today at the O.P.C. and C.A.F.C. against you and they suggest to call the police (G.R.C. / S.Q.) what I probably will do.
