THIS COMPANY IS A SCAM AND I AM WAITING THREE MONTHS FOR A REFUND FROM THEM. I ORDERED CELL CONTROL ON 1/13/2012 AND COULD NOT GET IT TO WORK NO MATTER WHAT I DID. I REQUESTED A REFUND ON FEB 1ST, WITHIN THE 30 DAYS AND I RECEIVED AN EMAIL THAT I HAVE REQUESTED WITHIN THE 30 DAY TIME SO I WILL BE GETTING A REFUND AND I SHOULD GIVE IT 7-14 DAYS TO BE REFUNDED BACK TO MY ACCOUNT. There are TWO DIFFERENT COMPANIES CALLED CELL CONTROL-
One is crap spyware called cell-control.com. The other company is a legitimate business called cellcontrol.com. Cellcontrol.com is a CES Award winning HARDWARE company that sells a real product that actually monitors use of cell phones while driving Cell-Control.com is a scam and has so many complaints I can’t believe it still sells. It’s a shame that a scam company tries to take advantage of people by using a very close name of a product and giving the good guys a bad name to boot. The fact that cell-control doesn’t even have a phone number on its website, that the email address ( https:) shows as NOT SECURE and the fact they have to state on their website it’s not a scam, should clue you in……

Yes, the company is a SCAM, and the site leads you in one BIG circle. I am going to submit a claim to my CC company for fraudulant charges. Has anyone else considered this? Stupid me… I went all the way thru the ordering process and at the end I hit submit instead of cancel. People please don’t waste your time and money on this product.

I purchased the software, it didn’t work, bottom line. I followed all of the instructions, still didn’t work, therefore, I was fine to get a refund. I submitted my concern, they in return sent me an email from the company stating because I was under the 30 day refund time frame, it will be refunded. The email also stated to give it 7 days or so, and after 2 weeks, I still did not receive the refund into my account, the number that they were quick to take money from, but not give it back.
I contacted them again for the 2nd time to state my claim again, and they once again assured me that I would get the money back in a few days. After almost a month went by, I contacted them again for the 3rd time, to only be told that I passed the 30 day refund policy, are you serious?..I replied to their email and stated I was going to report them to the BBB, and make it my business not to have others purchase their service.
DO NOT BUY, BECAUSE IF IT DOES NOT WORK, YOU LOST ALMOST $100.00, these days that is a lot of money.

I attempted to purchase the cell phone spyware from www.cell-control.com. Before they would process my credit card they requested additional information. The information they wanted was a copy of my Passport/Drivers License AND and copy of a utility bill or a copy of my BANK STATEMENT! Needless to say, I did not send them any addidtional information!

I discovered the truth about my cheating wife using Cell-Control. True that you need to know how to unzip a file. Yes you need to know how to transfer it from your computer to your cell phone. But seriously folks, we are in 2012 now and if you can’t do that then find a teenager! Any kid can do this. Dont take my word for it – read Review #2. It’s from a guy who’s girlfriend used it on him. Dude – you got cell-controlled!

I ordered Cell Control, received the download and CD. The software on the CD was the same downloaded. They knew I had a droid but failed to tell me the files would come in JAVA and would need to be professional converted over. I tried the instructions 4 different times, even as their tech support said but it still did not work and is not working today.
No refund as requested, no response from customer service or tech support other since the last contact.

This is a warning to anybody who owns and uses a cell phone. There is a new cell phone spy program called cell-control remote phone spyware. I knew nothing about mobile phone spying or remote cell phone spyware before this incident happened to me. The offending website is www.cellphone-cellcontrol.info
Me and my girlfriend broke up several weeks ago. I woke up several days ago to see I had several missed calls on my cell phone, one of them from my ex-girlfriend. As it turned out right after this phone call she had made to me that I had missed she strangely new things about me she couldn’t possibly have known. Somehow she knew where I was all the time, she knew who called me when they called me who I texted when I texted them and a lot of other private information.
Finally after a lot of coaxing and pleading on my part she revealed to me that she had installed cell control remote mobile spy software to her cell phone and all she had to do to start spying on my cell phone was place a call that lasted at least 30 seconds. I didn’t even have to answer the phone for her to be able to start spying on my cell phone!! she said all she did was let the phone call go to my voicemail and by the time that happened 30 seconds had gone by and she was connected to my phone able to spy on it.
This cell control spyware program is an outrage. I know there is no way spying on somebody cell phone like this can possibly be legal! With this software anybody can install it on their own cell phone ( it doesn’t even have to be placed on the phone your spying on). This means anybody can spy on anybody cell phone without their knowledge and without their permission. If this is not illegal it should be made illegal it’s a complete invasion of privacy.
If anyone ever calls your cell phone that you don’t know don’t answer it and don’t let it go to your voicemail! It could be somebody is trying to spy on your cell phone.

On 8/25/11 I purchased the software called Cell Control on cell-control.com.
This software promises to help you track a cheating spouse by giving you access to their text messages, voice calls, call records, and even emails! After paying $69.95 using “plimus” on their website you receive a link in your email which directs you the downloading of the software. After downloading this program on my desktop I clicked on it to open it and there was an error message.
Apparently you are supposes to open this compressed zip file with zip programs to get it to open. After downloading the software on my phone I receive more error messages of invalid files! I emailed them so I can get a refund of my money because this software never worked on my computer or my cell phone, but like any scam company these people don’t have a customer representative number they only have online or email support!
Now I am 70 dollars short, and this is not fair that these crooks are making millions off of innocent hard working people like me! I am not the only person that has been RIPPED OFF by cell-control.com either. I tried this so called cell phone spy software from cell-control.com. It makes big claims to do amazing stuff (listen to calls, read sms texts, never have to touch the target phone, gps, simple and easy download in minutes).
1) dowload was a zip file and I had to use 3 zip programs to finally open
2) tried to download files to cellphone, received errors of 907 invalid files
3) I emailed the company, was given a generic message to use an updated zip file program
4) with a little techno knowledge I have, after 3 days I found out how to down load files properly
5) files download, press run and I get “java lang, noclassdef found” error
6) for 4 days straight I emailed then to get same generic message “Here are the steps to download to Blackberry. Site claims 100% refund, I have request 10 times, but they keep replying with messages on how to download files to a BlackBerry. Never Use This Scam called CELL-CONTROL.COM
The company claims that its Cell Control Spy Software can spy on any mobile phone, any make and any model, anywhere in the world. I checked with a number of software professionals who told me that this is impossible. I would like to know the truth before placing an order.

Cell-control won’t be able to get new customers as their all files would be available free of cost on the net and they would die a natural death, very simple.

This is a scam!!! If you purchased it on any site. Get your money back! It will not work. The download link you receive is for you to convert free openly available software to different file extensions to work on your phone, but it will not work on your phone. I repeat you are paying for free software!.. If it is a legitimate download, then why would the companies not the convert the software themselves?

I’ve gotten the .jars to convert to .apk and downloaded them to the phone. I see the programs “Bloover, Blooover2, BTExplorer” and the rest of other files. When I start either Blooover, Bloover2 or BTExplorer, they look as if they are going to open and then all of a sudden, they close and I’m back to the screen where I initiated the application ie. Bloover, Bloover2 & Btexplorer. I don’t get it?
Anyway, what type of phone did you install it on. I have an htc thunderbolt from verizon? Anyway, thanks for any info you can supply.

Hi, I was wondering how you got files to convert to .apk? I tried on netmite.com, and they looked like they had worked but then the files wouldnt work once on my phone. I went back to the computor and saw that the converted file sizes were 0kb. does this mean the conversion didnt work? I also got a .PART file as well as the .APK from net mite.
Does anyone understand this, and how did you get them into .apk form?

Today I asked for a refund, we will see how that goes. I have the same issues as all the others I have read. After installing I get a success for the BT explorer but get errors on everything else from invalid jar to a java.lang error. I have used and understand java and all related languages. This should not have taken all this trouble to make a simple java program work. I also did not know that I would have to be within 15 feet of the target to use it.
As far as customer support, they did email me back within a day or so but only reiterated what was in the FAQ’s. I should bill them for my time trying to troubleshoot their errors in designing the software.
Cell-Control does not work,theres no number to call them and they wont response.Call plimus for a refund.I did everything I was supposed to do.I even converted the files to Apk. to fit android and it doesnt work,it is a scam.Its sad so many umhappy customer’s.
Had same issue, you do not have to contact the provider, just get your purchase order number and call plimus, and they will be happy to issue the refund, i just did and they issued both purchases, this is the best way to take cell control out of business, plimus process transactions they will just give you your money back and if we all did like so, they will shut this scam down! please call plimus and ask for a refund because the seller does not provide support their number is 866 312 7733

This is a scam for idiots, there is NO way to bug a cell phone without PHYSICALLY installing software on it or remotely sending them a file (they have to accept and execute it). Cell phone tapping works with IPHONES and ANDROID, BB and maybe WebOS devices aka “SMARTPHONES” that have Internet available.
Just think… Old Flip Phone has 1 Phone Number, 1 line… let say you call some one.. you are talking to them how would a 3rd party have to listen in ? It would have to be a 3 way call conference. Not sure on developers level what you would have to do to sneak that in and make it work for incoming and outgoing calls… i don’t think it’s that easy.
As far as remote SMS… that’s possible with SMS forwarding.

Before you buy something stupid… look at the website.. if it looks like an infomercial.. its prob junk or a scam.
yeah its a complete scam. someone i know wanted me to come and help them install a program they were about to buy. as soon as they said it had all this as seen on tv cnn and yahoo stuff i had suspicions. all i had to do was some simple web searches. in a few minutes i find that the program is just a bluetooth file and theres more than one company with the same name and ones a real thing. then i find reviews and the only positive ones are from people who either work for the company or want you to send the file to them so they can fix it. simple internet web searches can find the truth in almost no time at all
Elvis – are you sure about what you said? That this software doesn’t work automagically like they claim? I understand people want to spy on their boyfriend or girlfriend or whatever… but this could also be used on anyone! I believe it’s highly illegal and if someone wanted to, they could press charges on you if you do this. It’s an invasion of privacy and if people can be incarcerated for spying on celebrities, then why wouldn’t the average joe?

Hi the files are on the internet for free. The file is called Bloover.jar, Bloover2.jar and Btexplorer.jar. Once you download the files you need to convert the .jar’s to an .apk file so your phone can recognize these. The .apk’s are the executibles for a phone that’s why you need to convert the jar’s to apk’s. VERY IMPORTANT FOR ANDROID USERS, .JAR FILES CAN NOT BE RAN ON ANDROID PHONES. YOU NEED TO CONVERT THEM TO .APK’s. Below, I show you how to do this:
Ok, now go to this url: netmite.com/android/srv/1.7/getapk.php (copy and paste it if necessary into your browser)
Follow the instruction for only the “.jar’s”. You need to browse to your computer where you downloaded the 3 .jar’s files and one by one load it into the upload and then press the convert apk button on the bottom left corner to start the .jar conversion to .apk.
This will take some time because I kept getting an “Interrupted” message during the conversion. Anyway, if you get the files to download, then transfer them to your phone’s sdcard. Reboot your phone and go to your applications menu. You will find all three files converted into APK’s. You can click any icon and initialize the program. However, this is when you’ll have problems. Bloover begins to open, but then the splash screen disappears and then takes you back to were you were before initiating the application. On the Bloover2.apk, it too opens the splash screen then the splash screen just disappears and then puts you back into the application menu choices on your android.

Anyone trying to get a refund for a product where the payment was processed through plimus – go through Plimus and not the merchant. You have 60 days to get a refund on purchases Plimus processes and you don’t have to contact the merchant at all to make it happen.

I bought the program and tried to get it to work on 3 separate phones without luck. It almost worked on my Android but as soon as the program opened, it would close. The main part of the program is actually a program called Blooover 2. The Blooover 2 doesn’t do everything Cell-control does but it does allow listening in on calls. This program is available online for free. The major problem is that it’s a blue tooth program so the target phone has to have the blue tooth enabled.
I did get my money back from the company last month without any hassle or questions. It was frustrating trying to get help from the company though. Half the time they sent the same email stating that it might be my anti-viral, anti-spyware, firewall or pop-up blocker causing the downloading error. I had everything shut off and still had the java error occur. It would have been nice to have live help.
I bought it in late Aug and could not download it into my phone till i asked some comp tech to help me , finally in October, after downloading into my phone and like what TeddyB says the menu and apps does not respond and it is nothing like what they claimed. Yes there are menus but not responding at all .Whenever you asked for help they always e-mail back the same standard reply asking you to do the same things that does not work- actually they are trying to delay time so thatit will bewell over the 30 days refund period. I wonder why Pilmus the collecting money agent is not helping us the purchasers to get a refund .

Downloaded a *zip file named Cell_Control_2011.zip Its not a problem to open it but inside you will found only some applications (that you can found free if you googled) named Bloover and BT explorer… You cant do nothing of they calm on their website…so.. I also purchased this in late June and cannot run on my phone – get a Java Lang error. I even had a computer/cell phone tech. look at it so spent another $160 trying to make this work. I sent numerous e-mails with no response. I am turning them into the BBB today and I have a friend who is a high-ranking officer in the local state police and he is checking this out also. This is “FRAUD” in the simpliest terms. They guarantee it will work and I have been trying to get a refund since end of July with no response from them except sending me the instructions again and then a rude e-mail insinuating I was stupid, which I am not. At this time, it’s not illegal to listen in on cell phone conversations. As far as ethical, if parents want to know how their kids are talking to, it’s their right. And if someone is cheating on another, they deserve to get caught.
Isn’t tapping into phone lines is illegal? Is this no different? The same theme of invasion of privacy still stands. Technology is constantly changing, but if this even was real, there’s no doubt that this would soon become an invasion of privacy crime. And if you’re some kid’s parent, then take away their phone and look at it yourself. Grow up.
