The Massabesic Street Neighborhood Watch would like for consumers and customers of “James and Sons Automotive” to know that as of March 14, 2012 the garage has closed prior to Law Enforcement and court order. We have learned that the closure was due to illegal business acts. No further information was given.

On March 10,2010 I brought my 2002 Dodge Durango to James and SonsAutomotive for a state inspection after two and a half hours of waiting i was informed by James that the Durango failed the inspection due to the headlights’ brightness distance, and the tire treads.
So, I brought the Durango to another dealer the same day, and the other dealer checked the headlights and tire tread and said both were fine and passed the Durango for inspection. Out of concern, I stopped by NH State Police barracks and spoke with a trooper who again stated the headlights and tiretread were good, and he stated there was no reason to fail inspection.
James and Sons are ripping hard working honest people off, trying to get them to waste money on repairs that are not needed. I saw another complaint and agree with the person 100% that james and sons automotive are crooked and trying to rip people off. Someone needs to sue this, so-called mechanic for all the ripoffs.

I took my sister’s car to this auto shop because she had a problem with her car over-heating 2 years ago. She was told that she needed an oil change and to have her fluids topped off. She picked up the car and three days later the issue happened again. This time she took it back to this shop and was told that she blew the head gasket and needed new hoses. Two days later I picked up the car. The car was running great until I was driving it on the highway. I called a tow truck company and had the car towed to a different auto repair shop. Told the mechanic there what happened and what had been replaced. He said that he would look at the car right away. The mechanic came back and told me what the real problem was. My sister’s car not only blew the head gasket but the car needed a new radiator and heater cores.
This mechanic asked me where I took the car the first time. To see the shock on his face after I told him the name of the auto repair shop he told me that if I was smart…I come back to him and never go back to James and Sons. He told me that he gets some of the cars that have gone their and has to fix the real problems.
James and Sons is only in business for the money not the customers. If you bring your car to James and Sons you will pay through the nose for things that are not needed!!

On 9/15/2011, my husband and mother-in-law purchased a used car from James Hebert. Mr. Herbert signed the “Certificate of Title” over to my mother-in-law. Two days later, James Hebert called my husband saying he went online to see what the value was on the car he sold them an demanded another $500.00. On 9/23/2011, Mr. Hebert and some of his friends showed up at our home. They were trying to repossess the car. We found out that James Hebert had another key and entered the car taking everything out of it.

I asked James and Sons Automotive to look at my 1998 Cadillac STS. The owner (James Hebert) called me a few days after the car was in his shop and told me that I needed a new water pump, oil change and some other work. I trusted him and gave him permission to do what needed to be done.
Few days later James Hebert called me back and said that he fixed the water pump and changed the oil and stated that the work that needed to be done was going to cost me $2,800. I told Mr. Hebert that I couldn’t come up with that kind of money but I would and did pay for the new water pump and oil change.
On 9/15/2011, James Hebert talked with my mother (who is co-owner of the used car brought from Mr. Hebert) knowing that I needed a car and said he had a 2002 Nissan Sentra that he would give me for $1,400. Since I am half owner of a repo company with my half brother, I asked him if it would be ok to use two company checks to pay for the car. Of course he said yes. James Hebert accepted the checks and signed the “Bill of Sale” and certificate of Title over to my mother and I.
A few days later Mr. Hebert called my mother and myself claiming that he needed an extra $500.00 after he went online to see what the Kelly Blue Book priced the car at. We nicely told him that he wasn’t getting anymore money.
On 9/23/2011, James Hebert and some of his friends came to my home and demanded the car key saying that they were taking the car. I asked my wife to call the police. While my wife was on the phone to the police, Mr. Hebert and his henchmen ran across the street to the gas station.
When the police showed up I showed them the Bill of Sale and the Certificate of Title that showed that the car was transferred from Mr. Hebert to my mother and my self. The police went across the street to talk to Mr. Hebert and his henchmen and told them clearly that they all were obtaining citations for trespassing and that the issue was civil and the car rightfully belonged to my mother and I.
Tonight (9/26/2011), I had another mechanic who knows a lot about Cadilacs look at my car. After he looked at it he came back and gave me shocking news. I was told that the owner (Mr. Hebert) of James and Sons Automotive did not do any work on my Cadillac. The water pump was never replaced. The oil was never changed and the work that I was quoted on that was gonna cost me $2,800 is only $1,200. He told me that James and Sons Automotive LLC was scamming me.
After I left this mechanic, I obtained a call from my mother saying that they were going to take the car again tonight. I once again, called the local police and told them what Mr. Hebert and his friends are planning. Now, I don’t have to worry!!! Between the restraining orders that are out on James Hebert (includes 3rd party) anyone who steps foot on my property will be arrested!!!
Its sad to think that there are mechanics out there like James Hebert that scam people like me. I have learned my lesson and for now on I am going to do my homework and call references before having any work done on my car.

Ever here of “Eagle Eyes”? Eagle Eyes is also part of the Massabesic Street neighborhood Watch. We know the Brady Family very well and they are not criminals.
So, you say that Brady doesn’t have a problem at all with his leg? I beg to differ with you. Re-read: Brady was arraigned in Salem District Court because a “medical condition” made the trip to Derry District Court less suitable.
This charge was dismissed and talking about it is a Class A Misdemeanor in the State of New Hampshire Law. Look it up!!!
The so called “neighborhood watch” is none other than the Brady’s up to their same old lies and libel. I’m sure if the admin investigates they’ll find another matching ip address.
The truth is, James was offered a considerable sum to work as a technician for another shop, without having all the hassles of an owner. In a down economy this was a great decision for James and his family. The owner of the building has listed the building and it’s contents for sale. Feel free to contact the realtor, who is obligated by law to disclose if any illegal activity occurred there. You will quickly discover the truth.
Now, let’s talk about the quality of person making this claim. Melany Brady. This is a woman who purposely overdosed her child on Tylenol and lost custody of that child to her mother. The abuse of the child caused permanent brain damage and she has no part of that child’s life now, even 11 years later! This is a woman lied about being in dire straits in order to borrow $5,000 from her mothers neighbor, only to never pay that back. This is a woman who has repeatedly tried to scam the firefighter community by collecting donations for her husband/ex husband/ fiancé/ boyfriend, (depending on which story she’s telling) who needed an “immediate, life saving, amputation” several years ago… Yet John Brady is still limping around today without surgery, yet the donations were never returned. This is a woman who consistently lies and scams in everything she does, wasting the time of government employees on a weekly basis.
This is a woman who claimed on this very page, to be several different lawyers, which was discovered by the site admin.
This is a woman who lives in such a fantasy land she still thinks she and her guy have done nothing wrong, and that there won’t be a judgement day.
I could continue, but I’ll wait until she digs herself an even deeper hole.

Not only do I not collect any government assistance, but I did a little research, and there’s no “Neighborhood Watch” established in the Massabesic st. area.
My guess is if there actually WAS a Neighborhood Watch in the area, they’d spend all their time watching the crooks and scam artists limping and waddling in and out of the Brady residence!
For your info there is a group of us that are watching the neighborhood. We are sick and tired of the neighborhood going to hell. People like James and yourself make this neighborhood trashy. So, some of us that are not scared are stepping up and taking our neighborhood back. When drugs are being sold, license plates are being taken and given to police.
As for James, Norm had him kicked out for illegal business practice and other reasons.
Don’t try to tell me what Norm did or didn’t do, lol! I talk to him several times a week! Funny he didn’t mention any of that at the BBQ we all had on Wednesday night!
As for the neighborhood, James and Sons serviced vehicles from the houses on both sides of the shop, as well as a customer living behind the shop, and several more in a 3 block radius, including the vehicles of 4 other business owners in the neighborhood.
James and Sons also regularly serviced 17 fleet vehicles for a local religious organization, as well as a local community center, and the vehicle of a NH state representative.
If the “neighborhood” really thought the things you claim, none of that business would have been there.
The truth is, most of the neighborhood can’t stand you Brady’s, and would come visit the shop to laugh about how pathetic you all are!

No community action team or service ever sent business to his way and neither did a State Rep. Most of the time it was his friends working on their own cars and that is why he is broke and out of business. Also, for the few customers that he had they would bring their cars to him once and never again because he fucked up more than what was wrong with the car in the first place.
I can also name two garages that said James and Sons Garage was a joke and that James did not know his ass from his elbow.

James and Sons (Chop Shop) Garage was finally shutdown as of 3/14/2012 by law enforcement. This crooked mechanic’s garage is finally gone and out of our neighborhood and the police have put him out of business.

Glad to finally see some action being taken by the Admin. I spoke to the only Attorney James O’Sullivan listed in New Hampshire today. He represents insurance companies in workers compensation cases, and has never heard of the Brady’s. He stated he would have his firm’s IT department look into the comments posted here.
I also looked up Attorney William Doyle. The only one listed in New England is a Patent Attorney in Boston, MA, who again, has never heard of the Brady’s.

Hey you jerks…. You do know that it is against the law to mention criminal case that has been non-prossed (dismissed). Manchester man arrested for threatening co-worker, police
LONDONDERRY | A local food store worker was arrested last week after he allegedly threatened to shoot a fellow employee and two local police officers.
John Brady, 27, of Massabesic Street in Manchester was picked up by Manchester police on July 9 on a warrant sworn out by Londonderry police and arraigned in Salem District Court on three counts of criminal threatening, said Londonderry police Capt. Bill Hart.
Police on July 8 investigated a report that Brady had threatened to shoot a co-worker at Tedeschi Food Shop and Londonderry police officers Randy Dyer and Matthew Laquerre, Hart said.
Police learned through their investigation that Brady carries a concealed weapon on his person or, while at work, in his vehicle, Hart said. Brady is licensed to carry a gun in Manchester, police said.
Police had no comment when asked why the suspect allegedly made the threats.
Brady was ordered held on $2,500 cash bail at his arraignment and is scheduled to answer to the charges in Derry District Court on July 30, Londonderry police prosecutor Kevin Coyle said.
Police have learned to take threats seriously considering the frequency of violent acts throughout the nation, Hart said.
“Human interaction is filled with angry boasts,” Hart said. “Unfortunately, specific threats have to be taken very seriously to make sure people are safe.”
Brady was arraigned in Salem District Court because a medical condition made the trip to Derry District Court less suitable, Hart said.
Really you all must think your doctors and hold a medical license. Here is a site you all should check out http://www.webmd.com. Look up MRSA and VRE. Better yet…ask him to lift up his pant leg and let him show you the bandages that are soaked with blood. Ask him to show you his wound. When he does show you, you will see inside the wound. I have been driving for years, never quite trusted any mechanic but my hubby. When my son called and said you should try this guy, he did a great job and treated me honestly!!! I was like ok!! Really we will try and see.
James is an example that 1st impressions can be real. Fair prices/honest/straight forward/on the ball. To top it off he backs all his work!!! Even without an attitude.

The restraining order has been thrown out due to false claims, and the car in question was seized by state police for return to James.
These people are pathological liars, and it’s finally catching up with them.

Hopefully the Bradys will get put in jail. Honest working people will still pay for them to live, but at least they will be in jail and not collecting welfare.

October 26, 2011, the car in question was still in the custody of State and Manchester Police.
Whoever posted this does not know what they are talking about. The car was rewarded back to The Brady’s.
Rumors need to be stopped! If not, all posts (since I made copies) will be handed over to The Manchester Detective handling this case and will go forward to court.

So, if any of you here are friends of this person then the law is on the Bradys side and this person can be arrested.

This is for a fact what I am going to say. I am the mother of the person that you and others are harassing for James.
Out of James’s own mouth he got this car from the other owner before him because he couldn’t pay James the $7,000 that James put into the car. We have tracked down that other owner and was told that he noticed that James didn’t do what needed to be done and had he had proof he would be taking James to court.
As far as my knowledge, not only is James being investigated by The NH Attorney General’s Office and The NH BBB (Better Business Bureau) but now the FTC (Federal Trade Commission is looking into this and other claims.
The restraining order doesn’t allow contact from James either in person or THROUGH A THIRD PARTY.
People leaving messages here commenting on your complete lack of morality aren’t passing a message from James, they are simply stating their own personal opinion. Therefore, this is NOT “contact through a third party”.
For someone who claims to understand the law and have a college education, I’m surprised you can’t realize this.
This as well may or may not be true, if any of the comments are being done with his knowledge or through him then the restraining order would likely apply, but without knowing it is unknown but if needed a court could sort that out.

Oddly enough “Attorney Berry” writes in the same terribly constructed English as most of the Anti-Hebert posts in your site. I don’t know many Attorneys who don’t know how to use capital letters and none who refer to themselves in the 3rd person. If this is the status quo for attorneys in NH then we’re all in serious trouble. I find it amusing that you’d even humor everyone by addressing the creator of that post by their cockamamie name…while claiming you have everyone’s IP address!! 99% of the anti-Hebert posts are from the same computer coming from the same party.

As of today, I have talked with a judge that handles emergency court orders. I need a fax number Administrator or email to send the court order to you. This order from a New Hampshire judge is a gag order and orders all IP addresses of all users. This is harrassment from all users against The Brady’s. If the gag order is not met not only will you be in trouble but the users as well. The order comes from Judge Lyons of The Manchester New Hampshire District Courthouse. If also needed, Judge Lyons is willing to file a Restraining Order on all users including this site.We cannot discuss legal issues publicly. If you want no further contact from the general public then you should post this where it is not open to comments and yes it was my sister in law’s vehicle James who has no relation to me does not need to be married for me to have a sister-in-law just saying and buying and selling cars from James does not make me his friend or else you would be considered his friend.

Apparently John Brady was supposed to have his leg amputated as a result of an accident that he suffered as paramedic. The closest he has ever come to a paramedic is when a real one has to assist him to the hospital since he is obese and will probably end up with type II diabetes. As far as I know the police are getting a judge right now to order an emergency order for James Hebert and Robert Kenny. They might also ask for everyone else in this room.

How do you know that was directed towards Mr Brady ? I think it was a friend of Brady’s threatening James.
That is for the police to sort out, it’s irrelevant who it is directed towards, in a civil case it would probably be important to know, but criminally a threat of violence against anyone is illegal and we work with local law enforcement in any cases such as this.

It is unlawful for this woman to be post a thread bashing the integrity of another person and his business and not allow said person or his clients to defend themselves. If there is in fact a restraining order then this whole thing needs to be taken down because she should have contact. This has become internet harassment since he is no longer allowed to defend himself. Please respect both sides of this party and take down until settled in court
This is not true and not the law. There are laws related to Internet Harassment and we would not allow that on the site and if it were occurring our legal team would take appropriate action.

I have screenshots of this ad, but here is the ad posted 1 week ago to sell the Cadillac. It’s described as having no problems, and only needeing the work they claim was done “due to mileage”.

Let’s not forget that $197 of the $307 repair bill for the Cadillac was paid with a counterfeit check, so not only did James and sons NOT mischarge them, and DID all the work on the above posted repair orders, but then they didn’t even get paid for it!

I’m also interested in why you had an ad online last week to sell the Cadillac, in which you described the car as running fine with no issues, with new headgaskets and more… Yet it’s sat in a driveway with no plates since the day it left James shop. It only left the driveway last night when someone in an escalade with mass plates jump started it, slapped a mass plate on it, and illegally drove it away. Since you claim it went to this other mechanic yesterday, we can only deduce that 1) the ad claiming the Cadillac ran fine was a lie, and 2) your new mechanic has no problems driving a car illegally, and is happy to work after 6pm….
James and Sons are so dishonest. If your check engine light comes on he will use the OBD device to reset the light so that its off. Mr. Hebert will then tell you to drive 50 miles and they will bea ble to put a NH Inspection Sticker on the car without doing any repairs because if your engine light is on the car fails inspection. These guys do this all the time. It is a crime to tamper with State Inspections.
Lol… That’s not dishonest, that’s what you do. The computer won’t allow you to just shut the light off and sticker the car. If you try to do that the computer will just show the ecu as not ready. That is why you have to drive 50 miles to get the ecu to check it self. If the check engine light does not come back on everything is fine and then you can get a sticker with no problem. If the light comes back on then there is an issue and it will need to be fixed before you can het a sticker.
You cannot just clear the check engine and then pass inspection , it does not work like that.
Mr. Hebert is lying through his teeth. I just got off the phone with Manchester, NH Police Department and I was told that there is no investigation in this matter. I was told that this issue is civil and the same was told to Mr. Hebert.
These bill of sales are fake. These are not the ones that Mr. Hebert gave to my mother and I. Mr. Hebert printed these bills out today to save his on skin.
As stated above the other mechanic that looked at the car noticed that “no repairs were made”. This other mechanic even told me that he has had other cars that James and Sons has worked on with botched repairs and nothing touched in his auto shop.
Mr. Hebert has not one but two restraining orders against him for harrassment and threatening along with trespassing.
The maker of this claim paid for the vehicle with a fake check, like printed on there computer fake check. James trusted these people and signed over the title . Big mistake for him because a couple days later the bank called and said the check was refused because it was fake.
So hey never paid for work on the 1 car and didn’t pay for the other car at all. Now they are trying to unload the car they stole by selling it. So they paid with a fake check and now are going all over the internet posting this completely fake story to try to ruin the company’s .
James is a honest guy and great mechanic, and until this happen he was also very trusting. He would even let you take your car and make payments for work done if you needed. No one does that and after this neither does James .

Manchester man arrested for threatening co-worker, police
LONDONDERRY | A local food store worker was arrested last week after he allegedly threatened to shoot a fellow employee and two local police officers.
John Brady, 27, of Massabesic Street in Manchester was picked up by Manchester police on July 9 on a warrant sworn out by Londonderry police and arraigned in Salem District Court on three counts of criminal threatening, said Londonderry police Capt. Bill Hart.
Police on July 8 investigated a report that Brady had threatened to shoot a co-worker at Tedeschi Food Shop and Londonderry police officers Randy Dyer and Matthew Laquerre, Hart said.
Police learned through their investigation that Brady carries a concealed weapon on his person or, while at work, in his vehicle, Hart said. Brady is licensed to carry a gun in Manchester, police said.
Police had no comment when asked why the suspect allegedly made the threats.
Brady was ordered held on $2,500 cash bail at his arraignment and is scheduled to answer to the charges in Derry District Court on July 30, Londonderry police prosecutor Kevin Coyle said.
Police have learned to take threats seriously considering the frequency of violent acts throughout the nation, Hart said.
“Human interaction is filled with angry boasts,” Hart said. “Unfortunately, specific threats have to be taken very seriously to make sure people are safe.”
Brady was arraigned in Salem District Court because a medical condition made the trip to Derry District Court less suitable, Hart said.
